& (Ampersand) Earrings
The symbol we know as the ampersand first appeared in the form of graffiti on a Pompeian wall around the first century CE. It wasn't called an "ampersand" at the time—it was just a ligature of the cursive letters “E” and “T” forming the Latin word et, which means “and.”
Handmade from 3mm flat acrylic, set on a silver plated hoop 25mm hoop.
6cm x 5.5cm, with a 9cm total drop.
The pair come mounted on a presentation board.
